    1. SITUATION

    A. General (Situation Générale)

Following the establishment of CP ARCOLE (Grid 030003), GTIA forces maintain a foothold in the Sangar Valley. The "Castle" (028002) has been destroyed. However, the enemy maintains a strong mechanized presence in GULAHY SHAL and JHARNOK. Engineering Status:

    2. MISSION

GTIA LÉGION elements are to CLEAR the town of GULAHY SHAL, DESTROY the enemy armor installation, and SEIZE the JHARNOK FOB in order to stabilize the Sangar Valley and block insurgent flow from the Northern Province.

    3. EXECUTION

    A. Commander's Intent

We will methodically dismantle the enemy mechanized capability in the valley. By utilizing high-ground observation (Noir 51) and heavy direct fire (VBCIs), we will isolate Gulahy Shal before clearing it house-to-house. The end-state is the total denial of the valley floor to enemy armor and a secure defensive line at the Zaymur River.

    B. Concept of Operations

    PHASE 0: DEPLOYMENT & ISOLATION

    • NOIR 5-1: Infiltrate and establish Fire Support Position (FSP) near the future site of OP LASALLE.
      • Task: Provide intel on Gulahy Shal and early warning on INS-MOT-01 movements from the North.
    • GREEN 1-2: Establish Base of Fire (BOF) 200m East of CP ARCOLE.

PHASE 1: CLEARANCE OF GULAHY SHAL

    • GREEN 1-1: Main Effort. Push into GULAHY SHAL and conduct systematic clearance (Clear-Hold-Build).
    • GREEN 2: Follow and Support. Reinforce Green 1-1’s flank and provide heavy VBCI fire support against hardened structures.
    • Objective: DESTROY the Enemy Tank Installation (Grid 033005).

PHASE 2: RESUPPLY & JHARNOK ASSAULT

    • Trigger: Gulahy Shal Declared Secure.
    • Action:
      • Green 2: Occupy Gulahy Shal defensive perimeter (Relief in Place of Green 1-1 for resupply).
      • Green 1-2: Displace forward to the Embankment (50m East of town) overlooking JHARNOK.
      • Green 1-1: Assault and SEIZE JHARNOK FOB.
      • Green 1-0: Establish Command Post & Casualty Collection Point (CCP) near Green 1-2.

PHASE 3: BLOCKING POSITION (ZAYMUR LINE)

    • Objective: Prevent counter-attack from INS-MOT-01.
    • Action: Green 1 and Green 2 establish a heavy defensive line facing North at the ZAYMUR RIVER BRIDGE.
    • Engineers: Continue construction of OP Lasalle behind the screen.
